Description
Oak (Quercus sp.) stumps harvested prior to planting of conifers in 1964. Diverse and variable ground flora, understory often well-developed with frequent Hazel (Corylus avellana), canopy dominated by Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) and Field Maple (Acer campestre), Oak (Quercus sp.) also common.
