Leaf litter from under and periphery of logs of 0.5-1.0 m length, decay class III (Pyle & Brown, 1999) Ground flora sparse consisting mainly of Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) seedlings, understory generally absent, canopy primarily Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) with some mixed broadleaf regrowth.
